Force India ended their partnership with Ferrari as the 2008 season came to an end. Though Ferrari gave them great support throughout the season, Force India decided to look elsewhere in the pitlane for technology under the hood for 2009. And while doing so, it seems they have decided to enter the Mclaren backyard for the 2009 VJM02!
The deal includes a supply of gearboxes, hydraulic systems and the KERS, apart from the basic engine. The deal will also give Force India an access to Mclaren's other vendors for rest of the components if needed. This would be the first time in the history of Mclaren that the company will support a satellite team with their technology. Talking to the media, team boss Vijay Mallya said, "We are absolutely delighted to be able to announce a technical partnership with McLaren Applied Technologies and Mercedes-Benz HighPerformanceEngines, and also our plan to expand the composite manufacturing capability and drawing office within our Silverstone facility."
Suzuki joins the CBU bandwagon following Yamaha and Ducati and now becomes the third bike maker to launch its high capacity bikes in India. The Japanase manufacturer has today launched its flagship model - the Hayabusa along with the much hyped cruiser, the Boulevard M190R (also known as Intruder M1800R in some markets). The bikes are priced at an ex-showroom price of 12.5 lakhs Rs. (2 lakh more than the YZF-R1).

But now, to celebrate their championship victory of the 2008 F1 season, the Italian manufacturer has launched a topless version of the 430 Scuderia in the form of a 'F430 Scuderia Spider 16M'. The car uses a 4.3-litre V8 producing a stagerring 530PS! It uses a 6-speed F1-g'box and manages a 0-100km/h run in less than 3.8 seconds! Only 499 units will be made with bookings starting now!
